I have been learning just how wonderful so many of you are out there in the blogging world. This week I received a wonderful gift from Katerine at Pillows a la mode. She had shown her beautiful bracelets and how she stores them. She had 3 which were too small for her wrist and sent them to me. They are absolutely gorgeous and actually fit me well, which is not an every day occurrence for me as I usually need to buy children’s jewelry to fit my wrist.
I have something I have been wanting to offer for my first give away, but it is currently a hundred miles away at my son’s house as he has unfortunately forgotten to bring it with him.
But Katherine’s lovely gesture got me thinking. I have things here that I have held onto but can’t use. Why not offer them to my readers and see if they can bring some happiness to you.
So here is my first give away. Four years ago, excited by becoming a grandmother for the first time I started working on these. I had planned to make a quilt with them for my grand daughter, but by the time I finished it was clear she had no interest in Winnie-the-Pooh. When I learned I would be having a second grand daughter again I thought I could use these. But alas, she too has different interests.
These have been stored flat in a zip lock bag for 3 years so they are fresh and clean. Simply leave me a comment and let me know you are interested in winning, I’d love to hear what you would do with them, but it’s not required. The winner will be chosen at random. You have until next Thursday (October 11th) to respond.
Now without further delay, here are pictures of the cross stitch Winnie the Pooh pieces I have for you. Note all these are stitched on White Aida, for some reason a couple have a blue tint in the photo, sorry something to do with the lighting in the apartment today.
